Wow, so it's been quite a while since I wrote my last blog entry!
While listening my ipod the other day, I came across one particular song that I thought was extremely profound. That song being Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
The lyrics struck a cord with me, particularly, ".....And even though it all went wrong, I'll stand before the lord of song, With nothing on my tongue but hallelujah......"
I think those are words to live by. As humans we go through alot, making it through another day can be the most exhausting thing ever. We make friends, we lose friends, we try and sometimes don't succeed, we love only to sometimes end up broken hearted, we put trust in people to sometimes end up disappointed and we learn, sometimes realizing we learnt nothing at all.
Sometimes we face disappointment after disappointment, but the important thing is that we get back up everytime we fall.

Life is so fleeting - what's the use of going through life being timid and consuming yourself with worry all the time?
I guess the bottom line is ....LIVE!!...love living!!
Despite all the negatives that may come your way, there are many positives although they may not be as obvious. We are lucky... we are living and breathing, getting to experience this journey we call life.
Surround yourself with persons who have a positive effect on your life - those who love you and would be there for you, no questions asked. But more importantly, embrace who you are as a person. Love yourself. Celebrate your existence. And while you're at it, have fun! =]

I finally saw Eclipse and I loved it! So far it is the best movie of the series; David Slade did a great job. I'm officially Team Jacob, despite how he has changed throughout the books to be sometimes a downright jerk, he's still lovable. Another reason I loved it so much, was because it came the closest to the actual book. Everything pretty much looked like how I imagined it. I also liked how they expanded on the character Riley, who Xavier Samuel played really well. It was also nice to see Jasper get more screen time and hear his Southern accent really come out.

I cannot wait to see Breaking Dawn! I just cannot fathom how they'll bring Renesme to life.

Also, Eclipse is "Rated R" here in Barbados. So ridiculous! After watching the movie I really cannot understand why. The vampires being killed didn't even bleed so its not as though there was too much 'blood and guts'. Oh well, I'm 20 so it didn't affect me,but i feel for the poor teens who can't see it.

The B.E.T Awards 2010

Last night the B.E.T Awards aired, and as usual, the show only had a few moments of glory. I did not see the whole show, but rather only the performances. So here is my take on them:

Drake & Young Jeezy- I like Drake. His songs are catchy and he usually comes off very passionate about what he raps and sings. His performance was simple; no hype men and no over-the-top pyrotechnics. It was just him, his band, and the visuals on the screens behind him. I can say I liked his performance. This was mostly because you could feel how much he was enjoying the moment. I am no fan of Young Jeezy so I may be biased, however I really do think he added nothing to the performance and his presence was pointless.

Alicia Keys- Yes Alicia Keys is a wonderful singer, but I have never been a fan of her performances. I have watched every B.E.T Award show and I am never impressed with her . For a person who sings ballads, I know not to expect much, however, her performances fall flat and at last night's show it was no different. I also did not see the point in her performing a medley of her past hits. she has a new album out, why take us back? In the process of taking us through her hits, she also reminded us through a video montage, of which of them reached number one on the billboard charts. Something I also thought was unnecessary and a waste of camera time.

Eminem, B.O.B. & Keyshia Cole- These three performed B.O.B's song 'Airplanes', which has become a favorite of mine. However, Keyshia Cole sang what was originally Haley Williams' (Lead singer of Paramore) part, because I assume she couldn't be there herself. As strong a voice as Keyshia has, I often think she lacks vocal control. She always crosses that line between strong and powerful, and yelling and clumsy. If Haley couldn't be there in person, they should have just played her vocals in the background. I honestly think she was the low point of the performance. B.O.B however brought the passion you hear on the song, to the stage, which was great. Another high part of the performance was Eminem's appearance, one in which you could hear the audience was glad for. Not only did he sing his verse to the song 'Airplanes' but then sang his own song, 'Not Afraid'. As with B.O.B, he brought his passion, which was enough to have the audience singing along and bobbing their heads.

Dirty Money- This group comprises simply of Diddy and who I consider to be his back up singers. I believe this is just another another money making endeavor and he could care less about the talent of those two young ladies. I know pyrotechnics can make a performance more exciting, but his performance had too much and the dancers and his 'backup singers' got lost in it. Also, when I saw the amount of fireworks I thought of the 4th of July. I do not like the song and for a song which in itself is weak, the performance was too over the top.

Ludacris, “All I Do Is Win Remix”- I liked the beginning of his performance with the women and the violins, after that it became like any other hip hop performance. Busta Rhymes,DJ Khaled, Diddy and others came out to perform 'All I do is Win'. Nothing much to say about it other than it really had an impact on the crowd, but none on me. One part of the performance that had me truly baffled was Busta Rhymes' verse. For most of it he sounded like a rambling fool, where nothing could be understood.

Nicky Minaj- She appeared three times during the show, each time wearing a different outfit and wig. I really do not get what her appeal is. Her over the top antics can be considered entertaining to some, but what i could not understand was why she was lip syncing. She is a rapper and it was not as if she were dancing and doing anything strenuous that could have warranted lip syncing. Overall I believe, that for a person who so many people were looking forward to seeing, she gave an half assed performance.

Lastly....

Chris Brown- Chris Brown made his return to the stage to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. The first part of the tribute was purely dancing. While his skills are impressive, I really did not see why twitter was a-buzz about how "spectacular" his performance was. The performance was good yes, but we all knew that he could dance and he's been copying Michael Jackson since he came out, so I do not see the need for all of this chatter. Chris got his chance to show off his limited but usually satisfactory vocals to sing 'Man in the mirror', but broke down crying. People think its because of how much he respected MJ and probably how honored he was to have been asked to do it. However, I think its because he probably felt like he was vindicated and that due to the response from the crowd, he had been forgiven for what took place last year. Regardless of the reason, I felt he had another moment to shine and he let it slip away. But from what I can see from people's reactions, he's probably headed in the right direction to having a buzz worthy career again. For me however, it will take more than dancing and waterworks to care about his music again.

Life...

There are always things people want but cannot have, things people have but do not appreciate; the latter of which irritates me the most. Over the past few days things have happened that remind me of how much I can dislike my life. Generally my life is not bad, but it is extremely heart breaking to work so hard to have certain things and then due to ' life' and everything that comes with it, have them taken away. Yes a person must sacrifice at times for the things they want, but when you are already between a rock and a hard place, what else is there to give? There are days when things seem like they are getting better, but then 'life' reminds you that few things are really in your control and that hard work and perseverance can mean little to nothing.

When the lottery comes on I always say "a man who spends his day at a rum shop drinking will win, but a person who is truly struggling to raise their family and to pay bills will not ever win". Is this reality fair? No it isn't! People always say that a person should dream big, have goals and work hard to achieve them, but wanting something or needing something does not mean you will ever have them. I'm starting to feel like what i want most right now isn't going to happen and it hurts.

I turned 20 on May 8th. Nothing major to report since most of my friends have not been fortunate enough to have finished exams. I did however get to watch Iron Man 2, which was pretty good. Robert Downey Jr never disappoints. He's always a tad bit schizophrenic in his roles which makes for good entertainment.

The real celebration for my birthday, will be the 14th, when all of my friends will be free to lounge around and enjoy summer. I'm really looking forward to it since usually i never get to do anything to celebrate my birthday. This year i really wanted to, not only because its my 20th, or because for once my exams finished early, but because i may not be here in Barbados for my 21st, and wouldn't have my friends to celebrate with.

Overall, I'm just happy to have lived another year =]

Summer is here!

At 6pm on May 6th, summer officially began. I had my last exam, which went great, and proved to be a nice way to end off exams, and begin summer. After months of hard work i was looking forward to being able to do nothing. Not only did it mark the end of the semester for me, but also my life as an Undergraduate student. According to my father, i am "officially unemployed and unproductive"; which suits me just fine. I am too caught up right now on the fact that its summer, to truly feel like i have 'graduated', but as the months go on, especially when its time for my friends to go back to school, it will hit me.

However, while i have finished that part of my educational life, i'm planning to have another phase begin. I have plans to go to England and study for my Masters Degree, and once things go as planned, that is where i will be, come September. While i may have to wait a while to see if my hard work this past semester has paid off, i am comforted by the fact that i know that i put my best foot forward and was a dedicated and hardworking student.

Now the only thing on my mind, is what to do next and how not to be bored :)

First up: Miley Cyrus on the Cover of Teen Vogue
Now I'm not a huge fan of Miley, her personality just isn't for me and neither is her talking voice, but i can admit to liking songs like 'The Climb' and 'See You Again'. I was on JustJaredjr.com, and they had pictures from the issue of teen vogue with her as their cover girl. Seriously....is this teen vogue material? its vogue for crying out loud, this is a highly praised magazine, so just because its the teen version,it should just look any old way. she looks bored out of her mind probably wishing she could go do something more productive like make out with her bf....no proper pose nothing, there were no better pictures that could have been used as the cover? what happened to selling a magazine by making it appealing...would you buy this based on its cover?I wouldn't!

Next: Taylor Swift

I haven't been a Taylor fan since her and Joe Jonas broke up....simply because of the vindictive way in which she handled it. She presents herself as this innocent, sweet person, who would never deserve to have a bad thing said about her,but she took her whole, got dumped in a 27 second phone call thing and told it to anyone who would listen, including Ellen and Ryan Seacrest.She also went on you tube with a Joe Jonas doll making fun of him. Was this necessary? Seriously....was this necessary? But Joe and the Christian and nice person he is, responded with to her with ONE statement to fans, which was done in a classy manner. Now this is old new but what made me think of this again was her saying a "heartbreak can lead to albums worth of material", i hope to God i don't have to hear how much Joe supposedly broke her heart in another song. i hope one day someone writes a mean song about her, and show her how it feels. But they'd probably give her an undeserved Grammy...AGAIN to make her feel better.

Revisiting My Childhood!

A friend told me she was watching Sailor Moon and we got to talking about how much we loved this show as kids and how Toonami on Cartoon Network was the best thing ever, and how today Cartoon Network shows little to nothing that we consider to be interesting. Personally i rushed home to watch it along with Dragonballz. I couldn't get enough of it..even got pissed off when anyone made me miss it and remember getting into an argument with my best friend at the time about the color of Amy's (Sailor Mercury) hair, after which we didn't speak for about a day lol. Even after all these years i am proud to say that i still remember the theme song. After this trip down memory lane, i decided to watch it from the beginning as well.

I've reached episode 34...and even though at some points i asked myself why i liked certain things about the show...i still really enjoyed it. I didn't remember Serena (Sailor Moon) being that much of a cry baby..found her to be quite annoying, but i guess as a child you don't notice those things as much. One thing that hasn't changed is who was my favorite character. I loved Lita (Sailor Jupiter), i just thought the whole lightning thing was cool and after seeing it again...it was still cool. I also like Rei's (Sailor Mars) power which was fire.

I've tried to watch certain shows i loved growing up and realized that either i'm too mature now for my own good or the shows were downright stupid and only children could enjoy them. Saved by the Bell for example was a show i loved and after watching one single episode i couldn't remember why i loved Screech and thought he was funny. Similarly..i watch Family Matters and found Steve Urkel to be annoying and less than funny. But i guess these things are all part of growing up.

Tonight my friends and I watched Avatar. Overall I thought it was a great movie, but the only problem that I had, was that its building of the storyline was too slow and I was initially bored.But once the action started, I was more than awake. James Cameron the director took forever too make this movie and it was worth the wait...its no Titanic, but it was a good movie. I honestly would not take the time to watch it again..its just one of those movies that I couldn't sit through more than once. But I didn't see it as just a movie with blue people fighting for their land, its a story that can be related to real life, which I think helped in making the movie great.

The Holidays

Christmas hasn't been a a big deal to my dad and I for quite a number of years and in a way it still wasn't this year..but I was content with how it turned out. I got a great gift from my dad which for the past 3 days I've been making GREAT use of :) Today one of my dad's good friends had a lime at her house....full of adults i didn't know, children too young to seriously talk to and two teenage boys who are too quiet for their own good and as a result..talking to them was quite difficult. After a while i got quite bored but the boys turned on the Wii and i joined in and played Naruto (which i turned out to be quite good at), Super Mario (more boring than i remembered) and Resident Evil (boring despite the zombies), and i can honestly say i had a pretty good time....and was fed quite well :D Not sure what will be going on throughout this week, but I'm happy knowing that everyday i wake up, i have no work to do,there is nothing to stress me out and i can relax and be the best bum i can be.

The Logos Hope is a ship that sails around the world promoting the word of God and international cooperation and has about 600 volunteers from 70 different countries and is often called the "Book Ship" cause it sells various types of books, whether for academic or personal purposes. I've visited the ship about twice and I'm hoping to again now that its back. Today some of the volunteers were on campus and i had the pleasure of giving a nice Japenese guy a tour and i introduced him to some of my friends and through him i met people from Canada, Finland, Korea,Israel and India, who all thought Barbados was a great place, filled with great people. Volunteering for the Logos seems like it would be a great experience and an opportunity to visit places you never even heard of and meet a lot of of interesting people. The Japanese guy i met, Yoshi, doesn't speak very good English but after talking with him for a while we both acknowledged that we were getting used to each others accents and i found that he genuinely believed in helping people and i thought it was nice how he considers himself to be a lucky person,because he knows God and enjoys having a free life. Unfortunately, they wont be back on campus but hopefully I'll get to go to the ship and see them again.

Paranormal Activity........snores

I just watched Paranormal Activity. I read that it was so terrifying and scary that i thought it was worth watching. I was really wrong..and anyone who can say they enjoyed this movie and was scared by it...doesn't know what it means to be scared. It was too long and all the paranormal activity consisted of mostly weird noises, a little wind and a small fire. The most action packed moment *rolls eyes*, was when the 'spirit' pulled her out the bed and in the end when it caused her to kill her husband. I just lost 90 minutes and some seconds of my life on this nonsense....yet it beat out SAW at the box office. i am no fan of SAW but at least it can make me cringe and look away from the screen, whereas with this i had to fight to pay attention. This movie's popularity is based on word-of-mouth and and i definitely wont be recommending it to anyone unless they need to be put to sleep. The poster says "Don't watch it Alone", i say don't watch it period!

Today i was in the library with a friend, we were supposed to be studying, but ended up talking more than anything else. We talked about boys, friends, shared funny stories and boys some more and when we finally did look at our books...well my book...she was on her Mac Book, i taught her that Walt Disney owned the ABC network and that General Electric owns NBC. Neither of us previously knew these things but found them a little odd but interesting. I was reading all about business strategies and by these companies acquiring businesses that are unrelated to their core business processes, they have adopted the unrelated diversification strategy =].

We learned something new today...and whoever reads this will too :p

Unnecessary Frustration

Every semester since I've started university I've had at least one group that just cant get their act together and do what needs to be done. They'd rather fool around, be lazy and and as a result cause unnecessary frustrations, and they just don't seem to care. Why must I always be the one to do everything? Why must I be the one that has to tell people they are wrong and be disliked for it?
How can members of a group, all of which will share the same grade, sit back and let someone submit pages of nonsense with their names attached. No one has criticisms till I say something is wrong, then they all fall in line. That doesn't help anyone.

And when you try to help people, why must they always act as though they were attacked? People that I have come across have no idea how diplomatic I try to be when telling them what I think about their work. Sometimes it seems like if they were given a good cursing, they'd take that much better and get the point and do what they are supposed to do!

Darkness

Summer Fun

Summer has been in full session, and along with it comes many things to do. One such thing is travelling. I have been fortunate enough to visit many places in one trip this summer. My trip abroad allowed me to visit Florida, New York, South Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C and Baltimore! =]... and in those places, I was able to visit many tourist attractions, and experience different cultures, especially in South Carolina and South Florida. All in all it was a great trip, and I can't wait until my next one =]
Coming back home from the USA, I was right in time for the weekend before the big jump-up on Kadooment Day. During this time, there are alot of activities going on in Barbados, like the Crop-Over tents and fetes such as Cohobblopot, where the local and some regional artistes come out to perform and showcase their talent. The climaxing event however is Kadooment Day, where some persons opt to jump with a band (dancing while following a large truck blasting music along a specific route), while others prefer to watch on the sidelines. The jump-up starts at the National Stadium and ends down the Spring Garden Highway, and it is a sight to behold to see all of the colourful costumes!
After kadooment, everything basically winds down, as school would soon be back in session. This year is a pretty big year for me as I will be entering university. I've had many decisions to make, and I still have alot more to make in the upcoming weeks and months. All I can hope is that I make the best choices possible for me.
The remainder of my plans are to enjoy the rest of summer, and fully immerse myself in the university experience =]

More Thoughts of the Future

The date for registration was announced so I have been thinking of what courses I will do next semester. I have to pick electives and management options with only two compulsory courses to do. I still have a few weeks before school but I'm constantly thinking of what courses I will do, especially since I am hoping to go away after my degree is finished and I really have to do well to ensure I at least qualify to get in the schools I want. All they are asking for is second class honors which I'm at right now but the thought that something doesn't go my way and my GPA drops is consuming my thoughts. I have a plan for my educational future so the courses I choose can make or break that future.

Think I may drive myself mad :(

One thing for sure this year will be more interesting with more friends starting university this year. :D

Thoughts of the Future

I really love the above picture. As soon as I saw it I thought it was ironic as that sign is tangible and certain unlike the future which is none of those things.

"We spend our whole lives worrying about the future. Planning for the future. Trying to predict the future. As if figuring it out would somehow cushion the blow. But the future is always changing. So for a while, I've been keeping a book of quotes and inspirational sayings and thoughts. My mom has gotten in on it, and now the book consists my favourite quotes, as well as quotes that my mom thinks will be beneficial to me throughout everyday life.
The above quote is one of my favourites, and serves for really good food for thought.

Recently, two guys in my age range died unexpectedly. This really unnerved alot of people who were close to the two guys, and really served as an eye opener for some. Both of the guys were very involved in church and church related activities, and considered good guys. When looking at the ages of the guys, they were young and definitely had their whole lives ahead of them, and now they are gone.

The whole incident really got me thinking, its not like i didn't know some of these things before (like about life etc) but it just reinforced them. You could be here today, and gone tomorrow. The future isn't certain, as the path you are walking on could change at any moment. What are you certain of in one instant could be gone in another.
When flicking through tv channels, channel after channel you see people predicting when the world is going to come to an end, and what the earth is going to look like when all of the humans are gone. Honestly, is this necessary??

I've recently continued reading a christian series called the Left Behind Series, the series is basically about The Rapture (when God comes for his people), the people that are 'left behind' and the trials and tribulations they go through.
Now in no way am I trying to force my religion on anyone as I like to think of myself as an open-minded person, and it's not in my place for me to judge anyone.
As you sit and evaluate yourself, this is your life... are you who you want to be?
In the book there are "the comings of Christ"...1st coming is where the saved are taken to heaven to be with God. As our God is a merciful God, there is a 2nd coming where those who didn't make it in the f1st coming, are given a chance to be saved.
Where do you fit in those groups? Would you rather waste time and be faced with a situation where you aren't able to make it into any of the two groups?

Those were just some of the questions I was asking myself recently. And as no one is perfect, I am definitely not perfect, and I'm still a work in progress. As a young person, we are all surrounded by all sorts of negative things, but we've all got to keep our heads down and stick to the task.
In re-reading what i've written in this entry so far, I hope I do not come across as bossy. I just don't want to see myself or any of my loved ones getting left behind, especially when we are always given the chance to make amends.
Its true that the future is not certain, but while we are here on earth, we can be the best we can be...live hard, play hard, laugh, love, smile, pray, appreciate...and i'm sure that if we do those things, our future or our end won't be all speculation, but a certainty =]

Summer School

Today was the first day of summer school and I'm tired of it already, not only that, but I also feel stressed after this first day. For my English course, I have 4 assignments. 4!!!! To do in 6 weeks, one of which is a project proposal A.K.A lots of work. I'm tired of doing English, I loved the subject but as I get older, its becoming a drag. Not only that, but I'm required to buy a book I will only use for 6 weeks, that will cost me $139. How hard would it be for her to photocopy important notes? Also, she tells the class, that the book does not have in everything. Is she for real?! For $139, it should have have in everything and more!!!

Moving on to Human Resource Management. No Book required, he understands the fine art of photocopying. The teacher is kool enough I guess, makes the class laugh, with the exception of me. But I don't blame him for that because that's me. However, for him I have 2 assignments. The first is worth 15mrks, while the second is worth 25mrks and I'm required to do research for both, as in go in the library and get some books sorta research. It isn't having 2 assignments that bother me, but rather what the assignments are. Once I saw them, my mood dropped, hence why I didnt find him funny. *sighs* One day down, too many to go. :(

Do you believe this? Would you rather be hated than liked? Have you ever sat back and watched the people around you and thought about how different they can be when others are around? How do you justify a person being one way with you and another way with someone else? Should one look at it from the perspective that different people bring out the best... or worst in a person?

I ask myself these things often, especially when observing the behavior of some of my friends and I often make excuses for them in my head when I see how different they are with others. But then, I'm guilty of it too. There is however, a fine line between adjusting to a situation and being flat out fake and pretentious. The truth is, we all do it. Our personalities can change slightly when we're with different people for the simple fact that we feed off of the persons we're with, and there is nothing wrong with that,its natural.

However, that line is crossed when persons completely change who they are, to fit in with others and as their friend, it can be a let down. As hard as it can be at times to be yourself, I find it can be more rewarding in the long run. It can be nice to meet people who are by definition weird and they simply do not care. They like being weird. A guy at school stood in front of me talking about random things,while eating paper. Who do you know that eats paper? Isn't that odd? Yes! But he proceeded to tell me how good it tasted. Now I'm not one who is shocked often by the behavior of others and that situation wasn't any different, I just found it sort of refreshing, and thought it rare that a person can be so confident in who they are, to the point that they will openly display such weird habits. He obviously isn't afraid to stand out.

Lost Time Can't Be Regained

Summer has begun and i've started doing exactly what most people do the opposite of when summer comes around, and that's waking up early. My sleeping habits aren't the best, and my body usually ends up paying for it, therefore in my attempt to regain lost sleeping time, my pattern would be to sleep in late and wake up late, and that started an unhealthy and unproductive cycle...well for me at least.

Ever since exam time, where i would wake up early and put in some last minute cramming, i've been waking up early every since =)
While recently thinking back on all the time i've wasted while I could have been up doing productive things, made me realize that that time is gone and it can never be regained. Sure if you go to sleep late you can get more things done, and some people just function better at night....but in terms of waking up, those late sleepers usually wake up when nearly half the day is done.

Since i've been waking up early, I have been feeling better all round. Firstly, its soo peaceful outside while everyone is sleeping, and the wind blowing during those early hours is like none other. It's also a platform for thinking through situations or just having some alone time....unless you have parents or other persons in your household who are up like the crack of dawn. I think the biggest benefit of waking early for me is that I'm not rushed for time. After i'm done mucking around and finally ready to start getting a move on things that need to be done during the day, its still early out =)...suddenly days seem longer, even though its a standard of 24 hrs in a day.

Lost time can't be regained... not only can it be used to refer to the time people lose while sleeping in late while the world goes on around them. It also serves as food for thought...what if you had the time to tell someone something important but you didn't take up the opportunity and now they are out of your life forever? What if you spent those hrs of procrastination, doing the paper that you had to hand in the next day? What if you planned to hang out with a friend you've been neglecting recently and they've basically signed off on your friendship?
Those were just some thoughts that came to mind.

As the saying goes.."don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today"
I urge all of you, to indeed live and breathe each moment like it's your last. It's better to be on top of time than trying to regain lost time because you just may not get the chance =)

Movie of the Year goes to........Star Trek!

I remember watching the Star Trek series as a child and loving it, but like most children, I grew out of it and eventually it was no longer showing. After that,the show rarely crossed my mind, only when coming across shows like Stargate Atlantis I'd think of it. But in comes 2009 and the release of the trailer, I honestly wasn't expecting much. When I did see the trailer, I still wasn't impressed as the trailer gave me little to no indication that it would be worth watching.

However, my friends and I decided to go watch it and.....IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Everything was flawless: the makeup, the acting, the cast..the movie was just superb! Whenever you have scifi movies, the make up just looks fake, yes we all know its fake but I believe a movie should leave us wondering..."how did they do that??" and Star Trek did just that!

Many action movies have their comedic moments and Star Trek was no different. Difference is, they pulled it off! They didnt go for over the top comedy that would seem like they were trying too hard, little things just turned out to be hilarious.

The movie was full of talented people, but Zachary Quinto (Spock), who also plays Sylar in Heroes was great. No one else could have played Spock, which leaves me wondering who else auditioned and I'm glad they were rejected. Even his facial bone structure fit this part. The creepiness that Sylar has, he brought to Spock, the weirdness of Sylar, he brought to Spock,making him an interesting and memorable character which then makes me want to find out how the original Spock acted because I cant imagine him being better than Quinto, who by the way made Spock hot!

All in all, the movie was enjoyable to say the least, a part of me is hoping for a sequel, hopefully they wont ruin it for me. Well...I think I've shown enough of my love for Star Trek. I'd give it an A+...unlike some idiot who gave it a B.
